Directions for Use Retahaler:
- Hold the Rotahaler vertically; ensure the fin is not below the Rotacap hole
- Remove a Rotacap from its bottle and insert it into the hole with the transparent end downward
- Hold the mouthpiece firmly and rotate the base to pierce the Rotacap
- Breathe out fully, place the mouthpiece between your teeth, and close your lips around it
- Tilt your head slightly back and inhale deeply and rapidly through the mouth
- Hold your breath for up to 10 seconds, then breathe out normally
- If powder remains, repeat the inhalation (step 4)
- Open the device and dispose of the empty capsule
Steps to Clean the Rotahaler:
- Separate the two halves of the device
- Discard any empty Rotacap shells
- Rinse both halves under clean running water
- Shake off excess water and allow to air dry completely
